The information, chess-related content, game analysis, character commentary, hints, lessons, puzzles, ratings, rankings and other material provided by KL App Labs Ltd ('we', 'us', or 'our') through Checkmate Chaos (the 'App') are provided for general entertainment, recreational and educational purposes only.

We make reasonable efforts to provide a functional and enjoyable chess experience, but we make no representation or warranty, to the fullest extent permitted by law, that information or output provided through the App will always be accurate, complete, reliable, current, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

Your use of Checkmate Chaos is at your own risk, subject always to any rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable statutory consumer rights.

Chess analysis, coaching and computer play disclaimer

Checkmate Chaos may provide chess evaluations, suggested moves, game reviews, puzzles, lessons, hints, computer opponents, difficulty ratings, character-based coaching and other chess-related feedback.

These features are intended for entertainment and chess learning. Computer analysis, evaluations and suggested moves may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate or affected by technical limitations, configuration, depth of analysis or software errors. Nothing within the App guarantees improvement in chess ability, rating, tournament performance, rankings or competitive results.

Character reactions, Chaos ratings and humorous assessments are entertainment features and should not be interpreted as professional coaching, factual assessments of a user's intelligence or ability, or professional advice.

Online multiplayer and connectivity disclaimer

Checkmate Chaos may include online multiplayer, matchmaking, private games, leaderboards, rankings and other network-based features. We do not guarantee that online services will be continuously available or free from interruptions, latency, connection failures, maintenance, server outages, third-party service interruptions or other technical problems.

Disconnections, timeouts, synchronisation errors or technical failures may affect a game, result, rating, ranking, progress or other gameplay information. Where technically reasonable, we may correct errors or restore data, but we cannot guarantee that every interrupted game or item of lost progress can be recovered.

Matchmaking does not guarantee an opponent of identical skill, rating, location, connection quality or playing style.

Rankings, ratings and Chaos Points disclaimer

Player ratings, rankings, leaderboard positions, Chaos Points, titles, achievements, streaks and similar systems are gameplay features. They are calculated according to systems determined by Checkmate Chaos and may be adjusted, rebalanced, reset or corrected where reasonably necessary, including to address bugs, cheating, abuse, erroneous calculations, seasonal changes or changes to the game's ranking systems.

Unless we expressly state otherwise, ratings, Chaos Points, achievements, titles and other virtual progression have no monetary or cash value.

Character and humour disclaimer

Checkmate Chaos features fictional characters with exaggerated personalities, humour, insults, reactions and commentary. These characters and their statements are created for entertainment purposes and are not intended to represent real people, factual statements, professional opinions or endorsements by KL App Labs Ltd.

Some optional content may contain stronger language, adult humour or themes that may not be suitable for all users. Users, and parents or guardians where applicable, should consider the App's applicable age/content rating and available content controls.

Fair play and anti-cheat disclaimer

We may use gameplay, account and technical information to help protect competitive integrity and investigate suspected cheating, automation, engine assistance, rating manipulation, exploitation or other misuse.

Anti-cheat and moderation systems cannot be guaranteed to identify every violation or to be free from error. Where appropriate, users may contact KL App Labs Ltd regarding an account restriction or enforcement decision. Further rules governing fair play, suspensions and prohibited conduct are contained in the Checkmate Chaos Terms and Conditions.

Third-party services disclaimer

Checkmate Chaos may rely on or interact with third-party services, including services used for authentication, backend infrastructure, Google sign-in, Google Play distribution and billing, and subscription entitlement management.

We do not control the availability, security, policies or operation of third-party services. Interruptions or changes to those services may affect features within Checkmate Chaos. Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

The App or KL App Labs website may contain links to websites, services or content belonging to third parties. External links are provided for convenience and are not necessarily investigated, monitored or checked by us for accuracy, reliability, availability, security or completeness.

Testimonials and reviews disclaimer

KL App Labs Ltd may publish testimonials, reviews or comments from users of our products or services. These reflect the experiences and opinions of the individual users who provided them and do not guarantee that another user will have the same experience or results.

Testimonials may be presented in text, image, audio or video form and may be edited for spelling, grammar, formatting or brevity provided that the material meaning is not intentionally misrepresented.

Unless clearly disclosed otherwise, the views expressed in a testimonial belong to the individual providing it and do not necessarily reflect the views of KL App Labs Ltd.
