Refund & Subscription Policy

Thank you for using Checkmate Chaos. This Refund & Subscription Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, subscriptions, trials and digital purchases are handled for purchases made through the Checkmate Chaos mobile application.

Digital products only

Checkmate Chaos is a digital mobile application operated by KL App Labs Ltd. We do not sell or ship physical goods through Checkmate Chaos. Accordingly, traditional return procedures, return postage, merchandise authorisation numbers (RMAs), packaging requirements and physical return periods do not apply.

Purchases through Google Play

Purchases and subscriptions offered within Checkmate Chaos are processed through Google Play Billing. The payment methods, transaction processing, applicable taxes and billing currency available to you are determined by Google Play and may vary according to your country, account and payment method.

KL App Labs Ltd does not directly collect or store your payment card number or bank account details for purchases processed through Google Play.

Subscriptions

Checkmate Chaos may offer optional subscriptions that provide access to premium features or content. The price, billing period and benefits of each available subscription will be displayed within the App and/or Google Play before you confirm your purchase.

Subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in accordance with Google Play's applicable subscription terms. You are responsible for reviewing the price and subscription details displayed before confirming a purchase.

Cancelling a subscription

You may cancel an active Checkmate Chaos subscription through the subscription management settings associated with your Google Play account.

Uninstalling or deleting Checkmate Chaos does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Deleting your Checkmate Chaos player account also may not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Google Play. If you no longer wish to be charged, you should separately cancel the subscription through Google Play.

Unless Google Play or applicable law provides otherwise, cancellation normally prevents future renewal and you may continue to receive the applicable subscription benefits until the end of the period for which you have already paid.

Free trials and introductory offers

Checkmate Chaos may occasionally offer a free trial, introductory price or promotional subscription offer. Any such offer, including its duration, eligibility and the price payable after the promotional period, will be displayed before you subscribe.

Not every subscription or user is guaranteed to receive a free trial or promotional offer. Where a trial automatically converts to a paid subscription, you must cancel through Google Play before the applicable trial ends if you do not want the subscription to renew into a paid period.

Refund requests

Because Checkmate Chaos provides digital content and subscription services rather than physical goods, purchases cannot be physically returned.

Refund eligibility for purchases processed through Google Play is determined in accordance with Google Play's applicable refund policies and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. Depending on the circumstances, a refund request may need to be submitted directly to Google Play.

KL App Labs Ltd cannot guarantee that a refund request will be approved. Approval, payment method, processing time and the destination of an approved refund may depend on Google Play, the original payment method, applicable law and the circumstances of the purchase.

Digital content and premium benefits

Access to digital subscription benefits, premium features, themes, characters, analysis tools, game modes, cosmetic content or other digital benefits may begin immediately after a successful purchase.

The fact that digital content or subscription benefits have already been accessed may affect refund eligibility where permitted by applicable law and Google Play policy. Nothing in this Policy removes or limits a statutory right that cannot legally be excluded.

Defective or unavailable digital features

If you believe a paid Checkmate Chaos feature is defective, unavailable or has not been correctly applied to your account, please contact us so we can investigate.

Where technically possible, we may attempt to restore an entitlement, correct an account issue or provide troubleshooting. Where a refund is appropriate, it will be handled in accordance with the applicable Google Play process and consumer law.

Restoring purchases

Checkmate Chaos may use Google Play and RevenueCat to verify subscription or purchase entitlements. Where supported, eligible purchases may be restored or recognised using the Google Play account associated with the original purchase.

We do not guarantee that every historic purchase can be restored where the applicable Google account, product, store record or service is no longer available.

Price changes

KL App Labs Ltd may change the price of Checkmate Chaos subscriptions or digital products from time to time. Where required, existing subscribers will receive notice or be asked to accept a price change in accordance with Google Play requirements and applicable law.

Prices displayed by Google Play may vary by country, currency, tax treatment, exchange rates, promotional offers or other platform-specific factors.

Account deletion and subscriptions

Deleting your Checkmate Chaos account is separate from cancelling a Google Play subscription. If you delete your Checkmate Chaos account while a subscription remains active through Google Play, the subscription may continue to renew unless you cancel it separately through Google Play.

Before deleting an account, users should cancel any subscription they no longer want and should consider whether any store-managed entitlement can be restored after deletion.

Consumer rights

Nothing in this Refund & Subscription Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumers may have additional cancellation, refund or digital-content rights depending on their country of residence and the circumstances of the purchase.
