WakeUp Chaos: advertising and purchases

This notice applies to WakeUp Chaos for Android (com.klapplabs.wakeupchaos), provided by KL App Labs Ltd. It updates the advertising and purchase information in the policy below. For these topics, this notice takes precedence over older or general statements that information is not collected or shared, or that all app information stays only on your device.

Advertising with Google AdMob

The free version uses Google AdMob to show advertising. Google's Mobile Ads SDK can collect and share your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and advertising identifiers, interactions with the app and advertisements, and diagnostic information such as performance and crash information. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement and analytics, and fraud prevention, security and compliance. This is separate from alarm settings or other content stored locally on your phone.

Ad requests and personalisation depend on applicable consent requirements, your choices and whether advertising is enabled for your entitlement. Where required, Google's consent form offers advertising privacy choices. Declining personalised advertising does not necessarily remove every advertisement; limited or non-personalised ads may still be available depending on your choices and Google's requirements. An active ad-free entitlement suppresses advertising in the app.

Google Play purchases and RevenueCat

Google Play processes Android payments. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and maintain subscription or purchase entitlements, including ad-free access. RevenueCat processes an app user identifier and purchase-related information, such as the purchased product, transaction details and entitlement status, for app functionality and purchase analytics. This purchase history is retained for these purposes; it is not merely processed temporarily and immediately discarded. We do not receive your full payment-card number or card security code from Google Play.

See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. Advertising and purchase providers may process information outside your country as described in their policies. Data sent to these services is encrypted in transit.

Retention, choices and requests

Locally stored app information and information held by advertising or purchase providers are different. Removing the app does not automatically delete provider-held purchase or advertising records. Relevant records are retained for the service, legal, security and fraud-prevention purposes described in this policy and the providers' policies; we do not promise a single automatic deletion period for all of them.

For access, correction or deletion requests concerning information processed for WakeUp Chaos, contact help@kinglapp.com. We will assess the request under applicable law and, where appropriate, work with our service providers. Some records may need to be retained for legal or transaction-record requirements.
